ISGA’s Activity Guide

The NYC Playgrounds Program loves to see children experiencing their schoolyards in new and imaginative ways. If you’re a teacher looking to create meaningful outdoor learning moments for your students, this annually-published Activity Guide can help! The guide highlights art, play, learning, and community engagement activities that can assist in meeting your learning standards or act as a supplement to existing curricula. Enjoy!

“The non-profit INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL GROUNDS ALLIANCE (ISGA) is a global network of organizations working to enrich children’s learning and play through improving the way school grounds are designed and used. The wellbeing of children and the ecological diversity of their learning landscapes are intrinsically linked. The ISGA aims to support all schools in making the most of the opportunities excellent school ground afford.”
