Last summer, I took the train up the Hudson River to attend a super useful hands-on educational institute in the green, green woods of Fahnestock State Park in Cold Spring, NY. I met an inspirational group of classroom teachers and environmental educators who all came together to share ideas and try out environmental education activities they could take back to their schools.
